Here are six things that will improve your contact practices:
- Journalling. Reflecting on paper daily, about your practices in every regard, is the fastest way to improve them.
-
Give your anxieties a name. Two of my Mentees have a prick of a guy called Bruce yapping at them. Tell your version of Brucie to stfu because you’ll talk to him later.
-
Switch off your internet. Go hard and focus, uninterrupted by every other bastard.
-
Honour your voice. Forget trying to make your English teacher happy; they know nothing about your specialism, brand, or community.
-
Take no prisoners. Every topic is fair game. Especially politics, media and sex.
-
Walk. Nothing moves your brain like moving your body. Take an audio recorder with you (like the Otter app) and take notes.
